Burgess Buttercup Winter Squash, A New England favorite, has long been considered by many to be the finest tasting of all winter squash. Dark green-skinned, turban-shaped fruits have white stripes and very fine eating qualities. Buttercup has 6-foot vines which produce super sweet orange-flesh fruit weighing up to 3-5 pounds. Fruits are 4 1/2 x 6 1/2". Stores well. The rind is thin but very hard, medium-length keeper. 85-100 days.
