The Giant Siberian Pink tomato originates from Siberia and is called Sibirskiy Velikan Rozovyi. Seeds are not easy to come by, and I want to encourage others to try growing them. The plants produce a massive amount of tomatoes at once at about mid-season. Then, the plants take a break before putting on new growth and a new fruit flush. The flavor is sweet and savory with really meaty and juicy flesh. Indeed, giant, 12-16 oz, pink beefsteaks form on tall, floppy vines. They are deliciously juicy and meaty. Siberian tomatoes are usually on the early side, but this extraordinary variety is an exception. Like other main-season tomatoes, the yield is huge but concentrated later in the season. Siberian Giant Pink fills the role that Brandywine is known for, but we like it better in every way. 80 days.
