Danish Ballhead (Brassica oleracea) is the premier late-season storage cabbage — big 7–10-inch, light-green, well-protected heads averaging 5–7 lbs with mild, tender flavor. A standard storage type that keeps exceptionally well — pull whole plants in fall and hang upside-down, root intact, in a cool basement.
