Matsushima, Japanese Napa Cabbage,
Matsushima Napa Cabbage is an heirloom Japanese heading cabbage popular for its barrel-shaped head, easy growth, and hardiness against cold temperatures. It is well suited for close planting and will produce high-quality heads. It is typically pickled in Japan and Korea and dried in China to be included in soups during the cold season. It is also a good source of Dietary Fiber, and a very good source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Vitamin K. Warmer areas may experience a slightly earlier harvest date and will grow in a looser leaf formation. Grows best at 60° - 65°F. 70 days. Great for microgreens.
