Purple Jalapeno A large Jalapeno pepper that turns deep purple before maturing to red. A bit larger than a regular jalapeno, but dark purple! (They will eventually turn red if left on the vine long enough, but are best eaten purple). Full Jalapeno flavor and heat; great for salsa and other Mexican foods. Plants are both productive and ornamental. These plants have beautiful multicolored leaves that go from green to dark purple, with green stripes along the leaf veins. The flowers are bright reddish-purple with thick petals. 70 days
