Delicious, Tomato,
The Delicious tomato gets its name for being very delicious, of course! The 'Delicious' tomato (yes, that is its name) is one of the more popular and best-tasting home garden varieties. The regular leaf plants set loads of huge fruits that typically weigh in the one-pound range. If the plants are grown in the right conditions and are really happy, they may grow up to two or three pounds. The fruits are generally smooth-skinned with some ribbing at the top, red in color, fairly crack resistant, with solid interiors, and very few seeds. An awesome slicing tomato. This variety is excellent for the home gardener because of its superb sweet flavor, small seed cavities, and sparse cracking. And if you're looking for big, the Delicious once held the world record for the most giant tomatoes ever grown! Delicious tomato is still the world record of 7+ pounds for a single fruit! Indeterminate. 75 days.
