Bull Blood Beet is an older cultivar known for its sweet, stunningly beautiful dark red-purple tops and remarkable flavor. The leaves are very hardy and excellent in salad mix. The dark red roots are of good quality and sweetness. For salad mix, directly sow very thickly and cut in about 28 days. If kept moist and well-fertilized, the roots should regrow for another cutting. Tops 35 days, roots 55 days.
