Detroit Beet Seed Collection, Heirloom Seeds β€” Three Colors of Detroit Beet in One Money-Saving Collection

The Detroit Beet Seed Collection brings together three outstanding heirloom Detroit beet varieties β€” the classic dark red, golden orange, and snow-white β€” in one collection at a great price. Sweet, packed with fiber, vitamins, and nutrients, beets are excellent roasted, baked, steamed, and pickled. Their tops are equally valuable β€” beet greens are a bonus dual-purpose crop favored for salads and cooking. A cool-season crop that can be grown in spring and again in fall. 50 days.

What’s in the Collection?

  • Detroit Dark Red β€” the classic mid-season heirloom, rich dark-red interior, uniform 3-inch shape. Great for canning and freezing.
  • Golden Detroit β€” round orange-gold roots that won’t bleed when cooked. Very sweet, beautiful, and bolt resistant.
  • White Detroit β€” snow-white roots, stainless and sweet. No bleeding, no staining, clean and delicious.

Why Grow the Detroit Beet Collection?

  • Three colors, three flavors β€” a complete range of Detroit beet variety
  • Edible tops β€” nutritious beet greens as a bonus dual-purpose crop
  • Cool-season spring and fall crop β€” two harvests per year
  • All heirloom, open-pollinated β€” save seed from your favorites year after year
