Growing Notes

Direct sow outdoors after the last frost, when the soil has warmed to at least 60°F, or start indoors 3–4 weeks before the last frost. Sow seeds 1 inch deep in fertile, well-draining soil. Space plants 12–18 inches apart in full sun. Trellis or stake vines to save space and improve air circulation. Water consistently. Harvest at 8 inches for best flavor and texture — pick frequently for continuous production.
