St. Valery (Daucus carota) is a rare French heirloom carrot β an βimprovedβ descendant of the βLong Orangeβ carrot cultivated since the 1200s, making it one of the oldest carrot lineages in cultivation. Beautiful red-orange roots grow to 12 inches in classic conical form, fine-grained and sweet with exceptional tenderness and flavor. Uniform, high-yielding, and splendidly colored. 65 days.
