This Russian heirloom is widely regarded as one of the best beefsteaks grown worldwide. It was named after Paul Robeson, an American actor, singer, athlete, and human rights activist. The fruit ripens to a deep red or almost black color and has a slightly sweet, smoky taste. 'Paul Robeson' is a handsome dark maroon tomato that bears medium-sized fruits with a complex taste. It is an indeterminate plant, and the fruits mature about 75 days from transplanting.

These are growing very well. Plants are about a foot high so far. Everything I've gotten from them is doing great.
