Growing Notes

Direct sow outdoors 4–6 weeks before last frost in spring, or 6–8 weeks before first frost in fall. Scatter seeds on the soil surface and press in lightly — lettuce needs light to germinate. Thin to 6–8 inches for full heads, or leave dense for cut-and-come-again baby greens. Water consistently. Succession sow every 2–3 weeks for continuous harvest.
