All Year Round Cauliflower lives up to its name — a highly reliable heirloom variety that can be grown year-round in many zones, making it one of the most versatile and dependable cauliflowers available. Fast-maturing at just 65 days, it produces large, tight, bright white heads with excellent flavor. Part of the nutritionally dense cabbage family, cauliflower is delicious and versatile — roasted, steamed, riced, or used raw in salads and crudités. A great cool-season plant for the winter garden and a reliable performer in spring and fall as well.
Start indoors 4–6 weeks before last frost for spring crops, or direct sow in midsummer for fall and winter harvest. Transplant outdoors when seedlings are 4–6 inches tall, spacing plants 18–24 inches apart in full sun. Keep soil consistently moist and fertile. Blanch heads by tying outer leaves over the developing curd to maintain white color. Harvest when heads are firm, tight, and fully formed.
