All Seasons (Brassica oleracea) is a classic heirloom cabbage dating back to the 1880s — an excellent mid-season variety producing solid, round heads 11 inches in diameter with slightly flattened tops, averaging 10–15 lbs each. Spring-planted heads hold well into the hot summer months, allowing time to harvest and process. Excellent heat tolerance. Traditionally used for sauerkraut and suitable for fresh eating or roasting. The preferred variety for mid and late-summer coleslaw. 85 days. 200+ seeds per packet.
Start indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors spacing plants 18–24 inches apart in full sun. Water consistently and deeply. Fertilize with nitrogen-rich amendments. Harvest at 85 days when heads are firm and solid. Excellent heat tolerance — holds well in the garden through summer.
