Addis is the cucumber that adapts. Highly productive yields across a wide range of US growing conditions make it one of the most reliable heirloom cucumbers available — dark green, straight fruits with white spines that typically grow to 5–7 inches with a clean, fresh flavor that is excellent for fresh eating and pickling alike. Solid, mildew-resistant vines produce consistently through the season, with fruits reaching full maturity in 65 days and best picked individually as they become ready.
An open-pollinated heirloom that rewards consistent care with dependable, high-quality harvests.
Direct sow outdoors after last frost when soil has warmed to at least 60°F. Sow seeds 1 inch deep in fertile, well-draining soil in full sun. Space plants 12–18 inches apart. Trellis or stake vines. Water consistently. Pick individually as fruits reach 5–7 inches for best quality.
