White Boston is a light-green, medium-sized Butterhead type with a delicious yellow heart. The 12" round head sits up off the ground for a cleaner pick and does well in warm conditions. Smooth outer leaves with wavy edges produce a nice, dense, mild-flavored head. This heirloom goes back over 100 years and has a classic mild flavor. Relative maturity is 57 to 75 days.
