Lollo Rosso Heirloom Leaf Lettuce is an excellent heirloom variety with a good old-fashioned taste. Crunchy red outer leaves, dark green heart, vigorous. Lollo Rosa Open Pollinated Leaf Lettuce is an Italian Leaf Lettuce perfect for garnishing. Beautiful magenta leaves with tiny frills and light green bases. Mild flavor. Small 5-8" leaves. Excellent for cut-and-come-again lettuce when thickly sown. Harvest Lollo Rosa Red Lettuce at any stage of growth. Seeds can be sown directly into the garden when the soil is warm or started in containers and transplanted. This can be grown nicely in containers and clay pots. Fully mature at 45 days.
