Heshiko Japanese bunching onion or scallion produces tender leaves with white 12-14" stalks. The onion has delicious, white, spicy flesh. This variety will over-winter. Can achieve Longer white stems by mounding earth up over the stems to blanch them. Bunching onions may be harvested at any stage from microgreens to full maturity. Use in Japanese soups, salads, and stir-fries. Heirloom, Non-GMO. 60 to 80 days. Cool-season annual.
