Super Surprise Tomato Seed Mix — Just Like a Box of Chocolates

Can't decide which tomato to grow? Let fate decide. Each packet is drawn from a pool of over 300 heirloom tomato varieties — big red beefsteaks, inky black brandywines, golden yellows, creamy whites, red and black grape types, zebra cherries, and everything in between. Rare varieties, very rare varieties, and proven garden favorites. You won't know exactly what you're getting until it grows — and that's the whole point. Plant them, discover what comes up, save seed from your favorites, and do it all again next year.

"Heirloom Super Surprise Tomato Mix — just like a box of chocolates. Basically, it is a mixture of all the tomatoes I have ever grown and am growing."

Seed Saving Notes

Cross-pollination between tomato varieties is highly unlikely — no isolation needed. Pick fully ripe tomatoes and cut across the middle; squeeze pulp into a container with a little non-chlorinated water. Ferment 2–4 days until mold forms (this removes the germination-inhibiting gel coat). Pour off mold and debris — good seeds sink. Rinse in a strainer, spread to dry away from direct sun, stirring daily. Store in a cool, dry location for up to 5+ years.
