Pak Choy Seeds — Heirloom Bok Choy | Mild, Crisp, Nutrient-Dense Asian Green | Baby Harvest in 30 Days, Bolt-Resistant

Brassica rapa — Pak choy (also spelled pak choi, bok choy) is one of the most productive and versatile cool-season greens you can grow. Juicy, succulent stems and mild, tender leaves that are equally at home in a screaming-hot wok, a quick stir-fry, or a fresh salad. Harvest baby pak choy in just 30 days, or let plants mature to full size. Fast-growing, bolt-resistant, and a genuine nutritional powerhouse — ranked among the most nutrient-dense vegetables available, with outstanding levels of vitamins A, C, and K.

Why Grow Pak Choy?

  • Baby harvest in 30 days — one of the fastest cool-season crops from seed to table
  • Nutrient-dense superfood — ranked at the top of nutrient density lists; richer in vitamins A, C, and K than spinach and broccoli
  • Bolt-resistant — resists bolting better than many Asian greens; shade helps extend the season in warmer conditions
  • Excellent container variety — compact, fast-growing, and productive in containers and raised beds
  • Dual-season production — sow in spring for early summer crops; sow again before fall frost for a fall harvest
  • Open-pollinated heirloom — save seed year after year; 500+ seeds per packet

In the Kitchen

Stir-fry whole baby heads or halved mature heads in a hot wok with garlic, ginger, and oyster sauce. Steam and finish with sesame oil and soy sauce. Add to soups, ramen, and miso in the final minute of cooking. Use young leaves raw in salads. Braise whole heads in broth with ginger and Shaoxing wine.
