Delicious, fresh, or cooked, this Silician cauliflower grows deep purple in the garden but turns green when cooked. Deep purple cauliflower is tastier, more nutritious, and easier to grow than white. It is delicious, cooked or raw, and freezes well. It is incredibly cold-hardy and produces many side shoots after cutting the main head. Space plants are at least 20" apart because they will get quite large. It is a stunning addition to vegetable trays. It grows deep purple in the garden but turns green after being cooked.
