White Icicle Radish is the radish that converts radish skeptics. Long, slender, pure white roots with a mild, crisp flavor — noticeably less sharp than red radishes — are ready to harvest in just 28 days, making this one of the fastest crops in the garden. The tops are edible too: tender young leaves are excellent in salads or stir-fries, giving you a genuine dual harvest from a single planting. Excellent fresh, sliced into salads, pickled, or used in Asian cooking where daikon-style radishes shine. A reliable, fast, and productive heirloom that earns its place in every cool-season garden.
Direct sow outdoors in early spring or fall — radishes prefer cool weather and bolt quickly in heat. Sow seeds ½ inch deep, 1 inch apart, in rows 12 inches apart. Thin to 2–3 inches. Full sun. Keep soil consistently moist. Harvest roots at 28 days when 4–6 inches long. Succession sow every 1–2 weeks for continuous harvest.
