Tendergreen Bush Beans have been a family staple since 1925 — a medium-dark green, round-podded, stringless bean with meaty, tender pods and great flavor. Plants grow 18–22 inches tall with 5–6 inch pods, and are known for their extended season and heavy yields even in hot temperatures. Heat tolerant, disease resistant, and adaptable to just about all parts of the country. Delicious fresh, frozen, or canned. 50–55 days.
Direct sow outdoors after last frost when soil has warmed to at least 60°F. Sow seeds 1 inch deep, 4 inches apart, in rows 20 inches apart in full sun. Keep soil consistently moist. Succession sow every 2–3 weeks for continuous harvest. Harvest pods at 5–6 inches for best flavor and texture — pick regularly to keep plants producing.
