Summer Squash Seed Collection — Three Heirloom Classics for the Best Summer Garden

Everyone loves summer squash — and the three favorites in this collection ensure you get all the delectable flavors at a great price. A zucchini, a crookneck, and a scallop: the classic summer squash trio, each with its own character and harvest window. Grow all three this season and you’ll harvest the crop of a lifetime. A $11.94 value.

This collection contains one packet each of three varieties.

What’s Included

  • Black Beauty Zucchini — The classic. Dark green, glossy fruits are long, straight, and slender — firm, very tender, and flavorful. Darker green means more nutrients, with earlier maturity and a heavier yield. Very prolific. 62 days.
  • Crookneck — The traditional yellow summer squash. Bumpy, yellow, meaty fruits with a slender curved neck, 5–6 inches long. Firm texture, buttery flavor, excellent eating quality. Continuous yield. 55 days.
  • Yellow Scallop — The pre-Columbian Native American heirloom. Beautiful, bright yellow scalloped-edge fruits with a rich, mellow flavor — the most tender, buttery sweet “flying saucers” you’ve ever tasted. Appetizing at any size. 50 days.

Growing Notes

All three varieties are warm-season crops. Direct sow outdoors after last frost when soil has warmed to at least 60°F, or start indoors 3–4 weeks before last frost. Space plants 24–36 inches apart in full sun. Water consistently. Harvest frequently — the more you pick, the more they produce.
