Slicer Tomato Seed Collection — 4 Heirloom Varieties, The Finest Slicers in the Garden

The best slicing tomatoes aren't red. They're black, smoky, creamy, and complex — and this collection brings four of the finest heirloom slicers together in one kit. Each variety was chosen for exceptional flavor, beautiful appearance, and the kind of meaty, satisfying texture that makes a tomato worth growing. Whether you're building the ultimate BLT, arranging a summer tomato platter, or just eating them warm off the vine with a pinch of salt, this collection delivers the full spectrum of heirloom slicer excellence.

What's in the Collection

  • Black Krim — a rich, smoky, dark-shouldered Russian heirloom from the Crimean Peninsula; deep mahogany-red interior with complex, almost wine-like flavor; one of the most celebrated heirloom slicers ever grown
  • Moscow — a large, meaty Russian beefsteak with exceptional flavor and productivity; deep red, thick-walled, and incredibly satisfying; a workhorse slicer with gourmet credentials
  • Great White — a creamy ivory beefsteak with mild, sweet, low-acid flavor; stunning on a plate alongside darker varieties; a conversation piece and a culinary delight
  • Black Brandywine — the darkest of the Brandywine family; deeply complex, rich flavor with the classic Brandywine texture; a collector's variety and a garden showstopper

Want to customize your collection? Leave a note at checkout in the "Note to BoxGardenSeeds" field with your variety preferences and we'll do our best to accommodate from our full heirloom tomato selection. In the Kitchen

Slice all four varieties together for a stunning heirloom tomato platter — the contrast of black, ivory, and deep red is spectacular. Layer Black Krim and Moscow on a BLT for maximum flavor. Serve Great White sliced with fresh mozzarella and basil for a pale, elegant caprese. Use Black Brandywine in a slow-roasted tomato sauce for depth and complexity.

Growing Notes

Start indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost. Transplant after frost danger has passed into full sun with rich, well-draining soil. Space 18–24 inches apart; stake or cage all varieties — these are large, indeterminate plants. Water deeply and consistently; avoid wetting foliage. Harvest when fully colored and slightly soft to the touch. All four varieties are indeterminate and will produce until frost.
