Salad King Endive is bolt and frost-resistant. Heads are 22-24" wide and 12" tall with tightly curled dark green leaves with white ribs. The plant produces good yields of dark green endive leaves with white ribs. Great greens for salads. One of the best endive varieties on the market. Slow to bolt, frost tolerant, and produces well even under challenging conditions. An excellent choice for home gardens. Leaves are most popularly used in salads but are also excellent cooked and used in dishes. Open Pollinated. 50-59 days
