Red Tango leaves are red, frilly, serrated, and curled. Heads are tight and erect. Excellent lettuce for baby leaf and salad mix because the curled leaves add volume and texture. Lofty, tango-type leaflets with an impressive dark red color. Softer texture with a crisp midrib reminiscent of red leaf lettuce. Lettuce is adaptable to many growing conditions but likes to cool at around 60F-65F. Grow in spring and fall, and slow bolting by shading summer crops Lactuca sativa.45 to 55 days to full maturity. It takes about 35 days for a baby leaf.
