Red Tango (Lactuca sativa) is a striking heirloom leaf lettuce — deeply curled, frilly red leaves with excellent color and a tender, mild flavor. Ideal for baby leaf harvesting and salad mixes. Slow to bolt and heat tolerant. Beautiful in the garden and on the plate. Open-pollinated and non-GMO.
Direct sow outdoors in early spring or fall. Sow seeds ¼ inch deep, thinning to 6–8 inches apart for baby leaf or 8–10 inches for full heads. Prefers cool weather. Water consistently. Harvest outer leaves as needed or cut entire plant for regrowth.

The seeds arrived around the estimated time of arrival. They were well packaged and looked good. I planted a few 3 days ago and I've already got sprouts.
I hope these flowers will grow in North Dakota! The colors are vibrant and hopefully the bees will like them. I will have to wait until after the Big Thaw in April before I can plant them - can't wait!
