Red Express, Heirloom Red Cabbage Seeds — The Earliest Red Cabbage | Bred for Northern Climates, Amazing Purple Color, 63 Days

Red Express (Brassica oleracea var. capitata) is the earliest developing red cabbage we carry — bred to do better in northern climates where it matures quickly and performs reliably. Very uniform, tight, and compact with an amazing deep purple color that impressed us in our 2010 cabbage trials. A medium-sized cabbage that can be spaced much closer than other varieties, making it ideal for raised beds and intensive gardens. 2–4 pound heads are great for slaw, stir-fry, or salads. 63 days.
