In the Kitchen

Roast the rainbow carrots together for a stunning side dish. Stuff the sweet peppers with grains and herbs. Slice the chard stems and sauté with garlic. Toss the gourmet lettuce with a simple vinaigrette and top with sliced radishes and cherry tomatoes from the surprise mix. Every meal from this garden is a color event.

Growing Notes

This collection spans cool-season and warm-season crops. Start cool-season varieties (carrots, chard, radishes, lettuce) in early spring or fall. Start warm-season crops (tomatoes, peppers) indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost and transplant after frost danger has passed. Full growing instructions are included with each seed packet.
