The Piroka Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is a German heirloom variety developed by Dr. Hartmut Spiess. It is a highly productive, medium-large tomato with bright red globes weighing 5-7 oz. The plants are mid-sized, reaching 5.5 feet tall, and suitable for hothouse and outdoor cultivation. This open-pollinated, indeterminate tomato has a sweet, rich flavor and is perfect for salads and sauces, taking 78+ days to mature.
