NuMex Joe E Parker Chile Pepper (Capsicum annuum) is an ideal pepper for stuffing, roasting, or canning. This Anaheim type will produce 6"-8" long chilies by 1.8" wide and will give off mild heat with an SHU of 1500-3000. One of the NuMex peppers, this variety is an improved version of the classic New Mexico pepper. Tall plants produce 8-10" cylindrical peppers that ripen to red. Fruits have thicker flesh and tend to be a bit bigger than their relatives. Excellent for chilies, Rellenos and are popular in New Mexico in pepper wreaths and ornamental displays. Germination in 7–21 days, maturity in 75–85 days.
