Lettuce Blend Seed Kit — 5 Heirloom Mixes, Salad Bowl Ready All Season

The easiest way to grow a beautiful, colorful salad garden is to start with a great blend. This Lettuce Blend Seed Kit brings together five of our favorite heirloom lettuce mixes — spanning spring, fall, gourmet, cut-and-come-again, and romaine blends — so you can succession sow all season and never run out of fresh greens. Scatter, water, harvest. It really is that simple.

What's in the Kit

  • Spring Lettuce Mix — a bright, tender blend of early-season varieties perfect for cool spring harvests
  • Fall Winter Lettuce Mix — cold-hardy varieties selected for extended fall and winter production
  • Gourmet Lettuce Mix — a chef-inspired blend of colorful, flavorful varieties for upscale salads
  • Heirloom Cutting Mix — fast-growing loose-leaf varieties ideal for cut-and-come-again baby greens
  • Tricolor Romaine Blend — green, red, and speckled romaine varieties in one stunning mix

Occasionally a blend may be temporarily out of stock. If so, we'll substitute an equally wonderful heirloom lettuce mix so your kit always arrives with 5 full packets.

How to Use This Kit

Succession: sow every 2–3 weeks for continuous harvest. Start with Spring Mix and Cutting Mix in early spring. Transition to Gourmet Mix and Tricolor Romaine through summer. Switch to Fall Winter Mix as temperatures drop. One kit, four seasons of salad.

Growing Notes

Direct sow on the soil surface — lettuce needs light to germinate; do not cover deeply. Sow 4–6 weeks before last frost in spring, or 6–8 weeks before first frost in fall. Thin to 6 inches for baby greens, 8–12 inches for full heads. Full sun to part shade. Water consistently; lettuce bolts in heat — use shade cloth in summer or focus on heat-tolerant varieties. Harvest outer leaves for continuous production.
