Born in the research fields of New Mexico State University, the NuMex Spice series reimagines the jalapeño in vivid citrine hues — lemon yellow, bright orange, and deep pumpkin. These aren't novelty peppers; they're thick-fleshed, bold-flavored, and packed with heat. At 65 days from transplant, they ripen earlier than most standard jalapeños, bringing color and fire to your garden and kitchen ahead of schedule. Orange Spice is the hottest of the trio.
