The Hungarian Sweet Wax is an excellent pepper for pickling and adding to salads or sandwiches. This pepper variety grows on vigorous, high-yielding plants that reach 24" in height. The peppers are long, sweet, and yellow in color, maturing to bright red. This vegetable will be a great addition to your home garden and is excellent for fresh eating, frying, or stuffing! It is also suitable for growing in containers and gets ripe in about 70 days.
The Turks introduced peppers to Hungary in the 16th century. This began the Hungarian love for both hot and sweet peppers, such as Hungarian Sweet Wax. Several different types of Hungarian peppers are the ingredients of the spice paprika, which is made of dried, ground peppers.

These are growing very well. Plants are about a foot high so far. Everything I've gotten from them is doing great.
