Cornflower, Heirloom Seeds — The Classic Vivid Blue Edible Flower With Long Stems for Cutting and Culinary Use

Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus) is one of the most beloved cottage garden annuals — producing stunning vivid blue blooms on long stems from early summer through fall. Open-pollinated and true-to-type, these heirloom cornflowers are as beautiful in a vase as they are in a salad. Edible flowers add color and mild flavor to culinary dishes and dried floral arrangements. Excellent for cutting gardens, containers, and garden beds. 60–70 days.

Why Grow Cornflower?

  • Vivid blue blooms on long stems — ideal for cutting and fresh arrangements
  • Edible flowers — add color and mild flavor to salads and culinary dishes
  • Blooms early summer through fall — long continuous display
  • Excellent for containers and garden beds — versatile and easy to grow
  • Open-pollinated heirloom — save seed year after year
