Grey Zucchini (Cucurbita pepo) is a beloved Middle Eastern heirloom — pale grey-green, slightly mottled fruits with exceptionally tender, delicate, mild flesh. More tender than standard dark green zucchini and preferred in Lebanese, Turkish, and Greek cooking for stuffing and sautéing. Best harvested at 6–8 inches. Prolific and productive. 50 days.
Direct sow outdoors after last frost in full sun, or start indoors 2–3 weeks before transplanting. Sow 1 inch deep, spacing plants 24–36 inches apart. Water consistently. Harvest frequently to encourage continuous production.
