Great Lakes Mesa 659 (Lactuca sativa) is a reliable crisphead (iceberg-type) heirloom — slow to bolt and cold tolerant, producing large, firm, crisp heads with excellent flavor. One of the best crisphead varieties for home gardens. Widely adapted and dependable. Open-pollinated and non-GMO.

Growing Notes
