Growing Notes

Direct sow outdoors in early spring (4–6 weeks before last frost) or late summer for a fall crop. Sow seeds ½ inch deep, 1–2 inches apart, in rows 6–8 inches apart. Thin to 4–6 inches apart as seedlings emerge. Water consistently — irregular watering causes cracking. Harvest at 29 days or allow to grow larger — flavor remains mild.
