This dynamic fall cover crop blend combines winter wheat, field peas, annual rye grass, red clover, and hairy vetch into a single ready-to-sow green manure mix. Sow it after your summer harvest and let it work all season — fixing nitrogen, suppressing weeds, aerating compacted soil, and protecting bare ground from winter erosion. Come spring, turn it under as a living mulch to enrich your beds with organic matter before planting. Perfect for raised beds, box gardens, and garden plots of all sizes.
Sow 4–6 weeks before your first expected frost. Broadcast seeds evenly over prepared soil and rake lightly to cover. Water in well. No thinning required. Allow to grow through fall and winter. Terminate by mowing or turning under 2–3 weeks before spring planting to allow decomposition.

The seeds arrived around the estimated time of arrival. They were well packaged and looked good. I planted a few 3 days ago and I've already got sprouts.
I hope these flowers will grow in North Dakota! The colors are vibrant and hopefully the bees will like them. I will have to wait until after the Big Thaw in April before I can plant them - can't wait!
