The Fordhook Zucchini Summer Squash, an All-America Selections winner bred at Burpee’s Fordhook Farm, features a smooth, cylindrical shape with dark green skin and creamy white flesh.
These vigorous, bushy plants produce abundant yields of straight to slightly curved fruits, best harvested at 6 to 12 inches for optimal tenderness. With a growing period of 62 days, the fruits freeze well and offer great flavor and texture.
