Early Wonder TallTop Beet, Heirloom Seeds β€” The First Early Beet With Exceptional 20-Inch Greens

Early Wonder TallTop (Beta vulgaris) is the dual-purpose beet that earns its place in the garden twice over β€” first as one of the earliest beet varieties for mid-summer sowing and storage, and second as a standout greens crop. Tall, vigorous dark green tops tinged with maroon grow 18–20 inches tall with glossy, red-veined leaves that are exceptional harvested for salads as the roots develop. Dark purplish-red, 3-inch flattened globe roots are excellent for pickling and store beautifully in the ground over winter. An excellent all-around beet for home gardens and market growers. 48–60 days.
