Taylor Dwarf Horticultural Beans — also known as Speckled Bays — have been grown since the early 1800s. Creamy pods with red speckles that are beautiful in the garden. For best flavor, harvest pods while they still snap. Picked at the right time, plants continue producing for several weeks. Compact 18–24-inch plants are vigorous and highly productive. Large, oval, plump beans are perfect for shelling with a rich flavor similar to lima beans. Excellent for soups and chili. 60 days.
Direct sow outdoors after last frost when soil has warmed to at least 60°F. Sow seeds 1 inch deep, 4 inches apart, in rows 18–24 inches apart. Full sun. Water consistently. Harvest when pods still snap for best flavor, or allow to shell for dry beans.
