Bouquet Dill is the classic home garden dill β an early-maturing, self-seeding annual with a strong, intense aroma and large, abundant flower heads that are perfectly suited for pickling, canning, and fresh use. Plants grow to 24 inches tall and 6β12 inches wide with the characteristic feathery foliage and bright yellow flower clusters that define dill. Harvest leaves at 45β55 days for fresh use in omelets, cheeses, soups, and salads; harvest seed heads at 70β90 days for pickling and canning. One of the most productive and reliable dill varieties available.
Direct sow outdoors in a sunny spot with well-drained soil after last frost. Sow seeds ΒΌ inch deep in rows 12 inches apart. Thin to 12 inches. Dill does not transplant well β direct sow only. Succession sow every 2β3 weeks for continuous harvest. Keep soil moist until established. Harvest foliage as needed; harvest seed heads when fully mature for pickling. Allow some plants to self-seed for next year's crop.
