Dark Green Cos (Lactuca sativa) is the classic romaine lettuce — tall, upright heads with dark green outer leaves and a crisp, pale inner heart. Excellent flavor and texture. Ideal for Caesar salads, wraps, and fresh eating. Well-suited to patio gardens, containers, and raised beds. Open-pollinated and non-GMO.
Direct sow outdoors in early spring or fall, or start indoors 4–6 weeks before last frost. Sow seeds ¼ inch deep, thinning to 8–10 inches apart. Prefers cool weather. Water consistently. Harvest when heads are firm and full, or harvest outer leaves for cut-and-come-again.

The seeds arrived around the estimated time of arrival. They were well packaged and looked good. I planted a few 3 days ago and I've already got sprouts.
I hope these flowers will grow in North Dakota! The colors are vibrant and hopefully the bees will like them. I will have to wait until after the Big Thaw in April before I can plant them - can't wait!
