Cherry Belle (Raphanus sativus) is the radish that set the standard for salad gardens — selected for superior quality and yields, this cherry-red radish with a snow-white interior is the first one to the table every spring. Round, crisp, ¾–1 inch roots are a good keeper and can be planted all summer long. A fast-maturing, early-season radish best used immature in salads and condiments. Also makes excellent microgreens. 22 days to maturity.
Direct sow outdoors in early spring or fall. Sow seeds ½ inch deep, 1 inch apart, in rows 6–8 inches apart. Thin to 2 inches. Full sun. Keep soil consistently moist. Harvest at 22 days when roots reach ¾–1 inch. Succession sow every 1–2 weeks for continuous harvest.
