Baby Oak Leaf (Lactuca sativa) is a compact heirloom oak leaf lettuce — deeply lobed, oak-leaf-shaped green leaves in a smaller, more compact form ideal for baby greens harvesting, containers, and small-space gardens. Tender, mild flavor. Slow to bolt. GMO-free and open-pollinated.
Direct sow outdoors in early spring or fall. Scatter seeds thinly for baby greens or sow ¼ inch deep, thinning to 6–8 inches apart for full plants. Prefers cool weather. Water consistently. Harvest at baby leaf stage (3–4 inches) or allow to develop fully.

The seeds arrived around the estimated time of arrival. They were well packaged and looked good. I planted a few 3 days ago and I've already got sprouts.
I hope these flowers will grow in North Dakota! The colors are vibrant and hopefully the bees will like them. I will have to wait until after the Big Thaw in April before I can plant them - can't wait!
