San Marzano Paste Tomato is indeterminate and has a somewhat longer season than other paste tomato varieties. A compact and prolific producer of bright-red, slim, 3-4 inch, fruit. A paste tomato with a pointy end, heavy walls, and little juice, so it is great for tomato sauce. Crack-resistant. Better tasting than Roma. Marzano tomatoes are thicker and pointier in shape. The flesh is much thicker with fewer seeds, and the taste is much stronger, sweeter, and less acidic. 82 Days
