Louisiana State University developed Creole Tomatoes in the 1960s for Louisiana's hot, humid climate. They produce firm, red fruit on tall, vigorous vines, so using a tall cage for support is recommended. To promote optimal growth, ensure they receive full sunlight and adequate water. Start the seeds indoors and transplant them outdoors after the last frost. The time from planting to harvest is about 72 days.
