They start out clear yellow, but eventually blush with pink streaks, indicating they are ripe and ready to be picked. These tomatoes are known for their heavy production throughout the season, and their flavor is sweet, fruity, and refreshing. Fred Hempel of Baia Nicchia Farm in California developed this unique variety. It is an indeterminate type and takes approximately 75 days to grow.
