Sugar Snap (Pisum sativum) is the original snap pea — a 1979 All-America Selections winner that changed how America grows and eats peas. Fleshy, round, wonderfully sweet 3-inch pods on vigorous 6-foot vines. Seeds germinate well in cold, wet soil. Yields well over a long season in both hot and cold weather. Excellent for freezing.
